OUR STORY

A new city. No friends. A mission so no family ever has to start over alone.

KidsTalkiPlay started with a feeling. One that millions of families know — but rarely talk about.

THE FOUNDER

A story that started in Barcelona, and found its purpose in Germany.

Thirteen years ago, Miriam left Barcelona and moved to Germany with her partner. Just the two of them, in a country where she knew almost no one. They built a life. They got married. And in 2020, their son was born.

But from the very beginning, something felt off. A quiet, persistent feeling of disconnection. Of being present in a place but not quite belonging to it. When her son arrived, that feeling became impossible to ignore.

She watched him grow in a world that didn’t quite feel like his. She noticed the distance between him and the local German children — different rhythms, different worlds, a gap that went beyond language. She didn’t want her son to grow up lonely. She didn’t want him to carry the same feeling she had.

“Every family that moves somewhere new knows this feeling. I didn't want my son to grow up carrying it too.”

— Miriam, Founder of KidsTalkiPlay

So she started looking for a solution. An app that could help families like hers — families that had moved somewhere new, families without a local support network, families who simply wanted to connect with others who understood.

She couldn’t find it. So she built it herself.

KidsTalkiPlay is the app she wished had existed when she arrived. Not a language tool. Not a social network for kids. A real community for families — to meet, to play, and to belong.

OUR MISSION

No child should grow up without real friends. No parent should navigate a new place alone.

KidsTalkiPlay exists to connect families with children — nearby or across the world — so they can build the support networks, the friendships, and the sense of belonging that every family deserves.
